Salary: £44,746 - £56,535 per annum - AC3

The Role

We are looking for a passionate and student-focused Senior Lecturer to join our Department of Healthcare Apprenticeships. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Nursing Education and to play a leading role in our apprenticeship provision.

We welcome applications from colleagues registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and from all fields of Nursing (Adult, Mental Health, Children\'s or Learning Disability).

As a Senior Academic, you will contribute to curriculum design and programme leadership, embed digital and champion high standards of teaching, assessment, and student support across the department of Healthcare Apprenticeships. You will also work closely with NHS Trusts, employers, and professional bodies to ensure our programmes remain current, relevant, and aligned with NMC standards.

You will bring substantial post-registration nursing experience and a strong track record of teaching or supporting learners in higher education or practice settings. You will also have an up-to-date understanding of NMC standards, apprenticeship provision, and the wider policy landscape shaping nursing education.
