The Role
Senior Learning Support Assistant - Nido Volans Centre, Bromley Campus
Contract: One-Year Fixed Term (until January 2027)
Hours: Monday - Friday (32.5hrs p/wk)
Specialism: Management Medication Processes within the Department

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Senior Learning Support Assistant at our Bromley campus. Working collaboratively with teachers and other support specialists, you will strengthen the day to day support and learning experience in and out of the classroom environment for all students receiving ALS within your designated curriculum area.

It is essential that you are passionate about improving learner experience and working closely with young people, their families and external support. You will also be confident in supporting and coordinating colleagues in a variety of transition activities and settings, as well as, ability to deal with complex situations by demonstrating effective communications and tact. Excellent record keeping skills and an attention to detail is essential.

The successful applicant will hold or be willing to work towards Higher level Teaching Assistant (HTLA) or an equivalent qualification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is important, as are, showing sound organisational skills combined with IT and administrative knowledge.
