Senior IT Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, HPE/Pure, Storage VMWare, VCAP/VCIX, DevOps, Kubernetes, Automation, Windows Server, Linux, Datacentre, Infrastructure Specialist, Security – up to 70K

Exciting industry, Exciting Tech, Exciting package, Exciting Team-Are you a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who has specialised in Virtualisation/VMware and Compute? Do you desire a more DevOps approach to your role? Can you embrace automation? If so, we have a role that will kick all others into touch.

Role: As a Senior Platform, Infrastructure Engineer you will work in a dynamic infrastructure team and have responsibility for the current VMware, storage platforms, cloud, and associated underlying infrastructure hardware. Backup is also your domain including data management – the availability, structure, and analysis of data. You will also do capacity planning as well as technical & functional specification writing whilst working alongside project managers and other SME’s.

Alongside the above, we are looking for an engineer who also has some DevOps experience, and/or is keen to embrace it. Doesn’t shy away from automation.

This is a role where you will be the person who takes this area of IT to the next level, you will be the idea’s person, you will drive this forward.

As the Senior Infrastructure Engineer:

* Additional – DevOps, Kubernetes, Automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerisation
