Senior Infrastructure Engineer | £400-£450 | 6 Months | Leeds (Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site)

Harvey Nash has partnered exclusively with a leading utilities organisation with a genuine social purpose. With nationwide assets and a clear growth strategy, they are investing heavily in modernising their VMware infrastructure and scaling their operations in Azure.

We're seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on an interim basis, with strong expertise in ensuring resilience, security, and compliance across a hybrid cloud and on-premises environment.

Experience / Qualifications

• Strong background in virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), server hardware, and Windows
• Experience with cloud technologies and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, IaaS and PaaS
• Hands-on experience with Azure.
• Scripting/automation with Powershell/Python
• Confident communicator who collaborates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as juniors.

Day rate: £400-£450
IR35 determination: Inside IR35
Duration: 6 months

The role is hybrid from Leeds, with 2 days per week on-site. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be within a commutable distance.
