Overview

Senior Information Manager to lead document and data management on a high-profile construction project. This is a fully office-based role in Cardiff, ideal for someone with deep expertise in Asite and SharePoint, and a strong background in the construction industry.


You’ll be the central figure in ensuring information flows seamlessly across teams, systems, and stakeholders, with a clear path to rapid career progression within the organisation.


Responsibilities


  • Information & Document Management

    • Set up and manage Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as Asite and SharePoint

    • Ensure all project documentation is correctly structured, version-controlled, and accessible

    • Maintain document registers, metadata, and audit trails

    • Oversee the flow of information between stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate distribution



  • Compliance & Standards

    • Ensure adherence to ISO 19650 and other relevant information management standards

    • Implement and monitor protocols for naming conventions, file formats, and data security

    • Support project teams in meeting contractual and regulatory information requirements



  • System Configuration & Support

    • Configure Asite workflows, permissions, and templates to suit project needs

    • Provide training and support to project teams on using Asite and SharePoint effectively

    • Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with platform providers when needed



  • Reporting & Analytics

    • Generate reports on document status, approvals, and compliance metrics

    • Monitor KPIs related to information flow and data quality

    • Present findings to senior management and project stakeholders



  • Stakeholder Coordination

    • Act as the central point of contact for all information-related queries

    • Collaborate with design teams, contractors, consultants, and clients

    • Facilitate coordination meetings focused on data and document control



  • Digital Strategy & Innovation

    • Drive digital transformation initiatives across projects

    • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and automate processes

    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in construction information management
