Job summary

A leading legal recruitment firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join their London office. The role involves supporting a global leader in construction and engineering, dealing with various contracts and disputes. The ideal candidate is a qualified construction lawyer with approximately 10 years of PQE, capable of mentoring junior lawyers and leading significant transactions. This position offers strong career development opportunities in the UK and internationally, with a flexible work arrangement requiring three days in the London office.

Qualifications

London office - 3 days a week - occasional European travel

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced, commercially minded construction and engineering lawyer to join a global leader working across Europe on a wide range of infrastructure, real estate and energy projects.

Reporting into the General Counsel you will be joining an established and highly collaborative in-house legal team supporting the business with a wide range of construction, engineering and commercial contracts and dispute resolution with the support of external counsel.

You will be a qualified construction lawyer (c10PQE+) either working in-house or private practice, happy leading on large transactions as well as working as part of a team. You will also ideally have experience of mentoring junior lawyers / business colleagues.

Excellent scope for career development in the UK and internationally.
