Our client, a leading Utility Company, is seeking a Senior HVDC Cable Engineer on a freelance basis to join their team. As a Senior HVDC Cable Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement HVDC cable systems, including system layout, cable sizing, and cable routing

• Prepare technical specifications and drawings for HVDC cable systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors

• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets

• Conduct technical reviews and evaluations of HVDC cable systems

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVDC cable engineering
