Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Health and Safety Manager with CDM and rail experience to implement safety policies for a civils construction project. The role is hybrid, located in Brackley, and is a full-time 12-month contract. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of operational Health & Safety experience with a proven track record in delivering assurance and driving effective safety initiatives across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of operational Health & Safety experience on major construction projects.
• Proven track record of delivering assurance and driving safety campaigns.
• Strong operational background.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage health and safety operations ensuring compliance.
• Review and sign off Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Conduct incident investigations and produce reports.
• Develop and monitor HSS KPIs and performance metrics.
• Design and deliver toolbox talks and HSS campaigns.
