Job summary

A leading technology consulting firm in the UK is looking for a Senior Guidewire Developer / Consultant for a contract position. You will be responsible for configuring and customizing Guidewire applications as part of a team focused on a major insurance platform transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter, along with experience in cloud migration and system integrations. This is a hands-on role requiring significant technical skills in GOSU, PCF, and a solid understanding of the insurance domain.

Qualifications

Senior Guidewire Developer / Consultant (Contract)

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Guidewire Developer / Consultant to support a major insurance platform transformation programme. This is a hands‑on delivery role focused on Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter, with strong exposure to Guidewire v10 and cloud migration.

You will work as part of a delivery‑focused team, configuring and customising Guidewire applications, supporting integrations, and contributing to large‑scale insurance system implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customise Guidewire PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter
• Support Guidewire v10 and cloud migration initiatives
• Develop and enhance Guidewire functionality using GOSU and PCF
• Build and support system integrations (finance, payments, document management, third‑party platforms)
• Support data migration from legacy systems to Guidewire
• Contribute to technical design, performance tuning and best practices
• Work within Agile delivery environments

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter
• Experience delivering Guidewire cloud or v10 migrations
• Solid knowledge of GOSU, PCF, XML, REST and SOAP
• Proven insurance domain experience, ideally within general insurance or claims
• Experience with system integration and data migration
• Guidewire ACE certification desirable
