Job Title: Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant

Salary: £45,000

Location: Bristol

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a specialist remediation and geoenvironmental consultancy based in Bristol. This role is ideal for an experienced geoenvironmental professional looking to take ownership of technically challenging projects and play a key role in project delivery across the South West and wider UK.

You will be working on a range of complex remediation and contaminated land projects, supporting commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments. The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality remediation solutions and offers a hands-on, collaborative working environment.

The successful candidate will lead and deliver ground investigation and remediation projects, with a strong focus on contaminated land.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and delivering Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Ground Investigations
  • Interpretative reporting and remediation strategy development
  • DQRA and risk assessment work
  • Site supervision and contractor management
  • Project management, programming, and cost control
  • Client liaison and technical support throughout project delivery
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff

This is a varied role offering a mix of office-based reporting, site work, and client-facing responsibilities. The company actively promotes professional development and will support you through chartership, while offering clear progression into senior and leadership positions.

  • Relevant degree/background (Geoenvironmental, Environmental Science, Geology, or similar)
  • Strong geoenvironmental and contaminated land experience
  • Experience working on remediation projects (contractor experience desirable)
  • Interpretative report writing skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Able to commute to the Bristol office
