A regional healthcare provider located in Chester is looking for a Senior General Radiographer to join its expanding team. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience and be registered with the HCPC. You will be responsible for training staff and students, while engaging in various aspects of patient imaging services. Postgraduate study opportunities are encouraged, and CPD evidence is considered essential. This role is vital for providing outstanding diagnostic care within a supportive environment.

The Radiology Directorate has a full range of modern specialty imaging services. All our general x‑ray rooms are DR. We operate over two sites, which includes Ellesmere Port Hospital. This is where our newly opened Community Diagnostic Hub (CDH) is located. In the CDH we have CT/MRI/Ultrasound/DEXA and Plain Film Departments. This enables us to provide the best possible Diagnostic Service for our patients. In the near future we will be expanding our Interventional Radiology department with two new suites and day ward.
The Trust has also built a brand-new Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC).
The Countess of Chester Hospital is the Regional Vascular Centre and also a Trauma Unit.
Opportunities for postgraduate study are encouraged and supported by the Directorate, and evidence of CPD is essential.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Radiographer to join our expanding friendly and dynamic team. The successful candidate would need at least 2 years post qualification experience in Radiology. The role will also involve staff and student training to broaden your experience. A BSc/DCR in Radiography is essential, and you must be registered with the HCPC.
