Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant required with strong understanding of UK GAAP.
• Experience in team management and ERP systems is preferred.

Overview

We\'re working with a global organisation who are looking for an experienced General Ledger Controller to join their Shared Services team. This is a management-level role with responsibility for statutory accounts, reporting, compliance and leading a small team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UK GAAP statutory accounts and US GAAP reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with SOX and audit requirements
• Manage VAT and balance sheet reconciliations
• Develop and support a small finance team

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (US GAAP an advantage)
• ERP systems experience (SAP desirable)
• Excellent organisational and people management skills
