Job summary

A healthcare organization in Greater London is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist for a fixed-term role. The therapist will provide SLT intervention primarily for adults with learning disabilities in a community setting, contribute to staff mentorship, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must hold a recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy and possess strong communication and leadership skills. The role offers a competitive salary range of £53,751 to £60,651 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities.
• Experience of teaching and training others.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide SLT intervention to service users in the community LD pathway.
• Work with the team and support staff.
• Contribute to mentoring and support for more junior staff.

Skills in quality improvement

Education

Recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy

Health and Care Professions Council registration
