In this key role, you will lead a team of finance professionals, providing critical financial insights and strategies to enhance care and operational efficiency. This position requires proven leadership skills and significant experience in finance within complex organizations. Benefits include flexible working, generous annual leave, and continuous professional development opportunities.
Marie Curie is the UK's leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they're likely to die from.
You’ll join Marie Curie’s Finance Business Partnering team, supporting the organisation’s nine hospices and nationwide nursing services. Working alongside clinical and operational leaders across Caring Services, the team ensures charitable funds are used effectively, sustainably, and in ways that maximise impact for people at the end of life. This is a collaborative, influential, and highly visible team, central to strategic decision‑making across a £55m income and £100m expenditure portfolio.
As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will lead a team of four Finance Partners and play a critical role in shaping financial strategy across Caring Services. You’ll work directly with senior leaders to provide high‑quality insight, forecasting, and analysis – empowering them to make informed decisions that improve efficiency, grow our reach, and enhance the quality of care. Your leadership will ensure we achieve the best possible value with every pound spent, helping secure the sustainability and future growth of Marie Curie’s frontline services.
