INTRODUCTION
JOB PURPOSE

Provide commercial finance support to key stakeholders for the Americas retail business, driving performance, productivity, and profitability across mainline, digital, and outlet channels. This role focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and continuous process improvements for all aspects of the retail operation, including sales, margin, people cost, and store-related OPEX.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Finance Manager in driving productivity and profitability across all retail channels (mainline, digital, outlet) by consistently partnering with different retail/operations teams on their day-to-day decisions.
  • Prepare timely and accurate budgets and forecasts for retail sales, margin, payroll/FTE costs (including hourly and monthly wages, commissions, incentives, bonuses, and benefits), and all store-related operational expenses (office expenses, r&m, cleaning, security, etc.).
  • Produce weekly/monthly reporting with actionable insights on trends, KPIs, and projections specific to retail.
  • Perform monthly P&L reviews for retail, ensuring accuracy and robustness of financial data.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools for retail; identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to improve both efficiency and even financial accuracy.
  • Take ownership of file-building and process documentation to support recurring and ad hoc analysis.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to streamline month-end activities and transactional reporting for retail.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support to retail stakeholders as needed.
  • Partner with commercial teams to challenge performance and provide financial guidance and overall understanding of the retail business.
  • Support the Finance Director and CFO as appropriate.
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral
  • Excellent Excel Skills with modelling experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of FP&A or Finance experience; wholesale or luxury retail strongly preferred
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
  • Experience with ERP (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
  • Completion of budget/forecast processes within deadlines and with high accuracy.
  • Robust and timely month-end close with clear insights on key drivers.
  • Delivery of relevant, accurate, and actionable reporting and analysis.
  • Strong partnerships with commercial teams and credibility through output.
