Job Description

The role of our Senior Finance Analyst is hybrid with the requirement to be on site at either Reading, Witney or Sheffield 3 days per week. There is also travel within EMEAI.

Responsibilities
  • Own the co-ordination and preparation of the annual business plan and monthly forecasts, by liaising with the relevant departments to deliver SG&A information.
  • Business partner to HR & Marketing
  • Support BU PF&A team to assist consolidation (and plugs) on monthly forecast/flash & commentary.
  • Finance/Commercial support to BU through Slide Deck preparation & other Adhoc analysis.
  • Completion of relevant BU team Incentive plan/results & co-ordination with Comp & Benefits team.
  • Freight, SLOB, R&D reporting, supporting, forecast
  • Agreement/accountability of forecast/actual accuracy and commentary.
  • Delivery of rolling forecast and budget (of Group spend - Marketing/R&D)
  • Loading of Forecasts to One-Stream.
  • Support People Planning (through CBG employees) and ensure that process results in accurate Budget/Actual reporting
  • Delivery of the budget/Operating Plan (including People Planning) to leverage accurate Business Incentives/Compensation.
  • Support to BU FD on (consolidation of) monthly close call/business call commentaries.
  • Excellent One-stream, MSTR, excel proficiencies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree (BAcc, BAE, BFin, BEcon)
  • Must possess 5+ years of finance/accounting experience in international companies and manufacturing environment.
  • Must have strong command of English, written and spoken, can participate or lead meetings in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Can communicate financials and related issues in clear business language.
  • Ability to work constructively at all organizational levels, from plant operators to senior executives.
  • Drive and assertiveness to achieve work deadline and performance goals.
Preferred:
  • CIMA or ACCA or Masters degree
  • Advantage to have 5+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP accounting
  • Prior management experience
  • Prior experience working in a global business environment
