Job summary

A leading home interiors specialist is seeking a Senior Field Installations Manager to oversee installations and manage fitting teams. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in the fitted door and window sector, possess a full UK driving license, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance, managing client expectations, and supporting the recruitment and training of fitters. Qualifications

  • Manage external functions with support from installation managers.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the external functions with the support of two field installation managers and fitting teams.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with company specifications and industry standards.
  • Visiting assigned installations and fitting teams to actively manage client expectations.
  • Overseeing the management of fitting teams, ensuring vans and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Handling client queries promptly with a proactive approach to aftercare support.
  • Supporting the recruitment and training of fitters in line with company standards.
  • Undertaking surveys prior to manufacture when providing holiday cover for the field installation managers.
  • Working closely with both the Client Services & Planning coordinators.
Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence is requisite.
  • Practical, hands‑on experience in the fitted door & window sector and/or the high‑end fitted furniture industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, approachable, smart appearance and a mature personality coupled with youthful enthusiasm.
  • Age and gender are irrelevant, but an appreciation of high‑end bespoke manufacturing is desirable.
