Job summary

A respected law firm in Coventry seeks a Senior Family Lawyer or Head of Department who will lead the Family Law Department and manage a variety of family law cases. What you'll be doing

The role will involve:

  • Heading up and growing a busy, successful Family Law Department
  • Managing a caseload of privately funded family law matters including:
  • Divorce
  • Separation agreements
  • Financial settlements
  • Co-habitation
  • Civil Partnerships
  • Children matters
  • Conducting advocacy as required
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and third parties
Who we're looking for
  • Fully qualified - solicitor or chartered legal executive
  • A member of Resolution (preferred)
  • An experienced private family lawyer
  • A senior lawyer looking for the next step or an existing head of department, seeking directorship or partnership in the longer term
  • Excellent leadership skills and client care skills
  • Ambition and drive to lead and grow the Family Department and further progress your career

This is a permanent job which can also be offered on a consultancy basis if preferred, working 35 hours per week, with flexible or reduced hours also considered. Benefits include:
