Job description

We are working with a leading (re)insurer to find a proactive and technically skilled Senior Exposure Analyst to join their London-based team. This role will focus on Political Violence (PV) and Contingency lines of business, working closely with underwriting, actuarial, and offshore teams to deliver high-quality exposure data and reporting across the group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading data capture, validation, and reporting processes for PV and Contingency classes.
  • Producing regular exposure reports, event response analysis, and regulatory submissions using Sequel Impact, Power BI, and other tools.
  • Supervising and supporting an offshore exposure management team.
  • Liaising with underwriters and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely exposure data for decision-making.
  • Supporting internal board reporting and external requests from rating agencies and regulators.

This role is well-suited to candidates with around five years' experience in catastrophe modelling or exposure capture, ideally with Lloyd's/London Market exposure. Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and tools such as AIR Touchstone and Sequel Impact are essential.
