A leading energy company in the UK is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team in Warwick. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating cost estimates for major construction infrastructure projects. Requirements include over 3 years of experience in estimating HV electrical infrastructure projects and strong knowledge of construction techniques. The role offers a competitive salary up to £71,000, performance bonuses, and a comprehensive pension scheme. Flexible working arrangements available.

As a Senior Estimator at National Grid you'll report directly to the Estimating Manager, you'll showcase your numeracy and commercial experience, within the Electrical Transmission industry sector that cover all areas of construction activities. Working closely with the wider strategic sourcing and contract management Procurement teams, you'll undertake specialist estimation of major Construction Infrastructure projects forming an integral part in our drive to Carbon zero.
This role is based out of our Warwick, and we'd hope to see you at least two days per week We're happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!
The successful applicant will be an estimator or Quantity Surveyor looking for the next step career progression within the Electrical Transmission industry sector. You should be able demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and knowledge. You must be organised and able to communicate at all levels effectively. HNC within an appropriate electrical discipline and any experience within Regulated industry sectors is desirable.

Up to 71,000 dependent on capability
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
