Our Environment Group has been providing environmental solutions for our clients for over 30 years in the UK. We offer a comprehensive range of environmental services to support all sizes and types of development. From high profile infrastructure projects such as Dogger Bank Wind Farm, Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone, Dogger Bank South offshore wind farms, Southsea Coastal Scheme, North Falls wind farms, the Woodsmith Crop Nutrients Mine, and Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station, to carbon management, climate resilience, locally driven habitat enhancement and wider biodiversity net gain projects. We combine market‑leading technical excellence, across the range of environmental disciplines, with a clear understanding of clients’ ambitions, needs and pressures.

We specialise in consenting, permitting and licensing support for complex infrastructure developments and operations. We have successfully supported our clients in delivering sustainable projects in sectors including energy, industry, marine development and catchment management.

Due to continued growth in a variety of markets including offshore wind (where we have been successfully appointed as the EIA consultant for Gwynt Glas and providing onshore discharge of consents support to Mona and Morgan offshore wind farms) and the water sector, we are looking to grow our team and are seeking Senior Onshore EIA Consultants.

Job Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Senior Environmental Consultant with strong communication skills and technical expertise in terrestrial EIA and onshore infrastructure consenting.

  • Lead and support complex environmental assessment projects including EIAs and / or the discharge of consent conditions.
  • Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide technical input on environmental assessments.
  • Develop and review environmental reports for consenting processes.
  • Engage directly with clients to offer strategic advice and problem‑solving.
  • Represent the company in client offices, regulator meetings, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, planning policy, and best practice standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical excellence.

Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in environmental assessment methodologies.

This role might be right for you if you have:
