The Role

Are you an experienced engineer or naval architect looking to take the next step in your career? Do you have a strong background in naval ship design or marine engineering? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer/Naval Architect to join our growing team at Survivability Consulting Limited. This role is ideal for someone with several years of experience in naval ship design or marine engineering, but we also welcome other engineers or scientists interested in the naval defence sector. You'll be working with a highly experienced team to enhance your knowledge and quickly take on key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers to understand requirements, develop approaches, inform progress and present outputs.
• Working independently or as part of a small team to simulate and analyse naval scenarios to improve the survivability of naval platforms.
• Developing approaches for assessing simulation data, extracting key observations in order to draw conclusions which address the customer's requirements.
• Writing technical reports and presentations to explain these conclusions, helping to guide future designs and policy.
• Developing fast running engineering models from trials, complex numerical simulations or battle damage data.
