A leading maritime services provider in the UK is looking for a Senior Engineer to ensure the effective maintenance and operation of vessel machinery. You will oversee the operational state of equipment and systems, mentor junior engineers, and act as the Ship's Safety and Environmental Officer. As the Senior Engineer, your role will be to operate and ensure correct maintenance and repair of the vessel's auxiliary machinery, ship's systems and equipment in a safe, effective and economic manner i.a.w relevant HASAW/MCA regulations. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient and economic operation and upkeep of the vessel's hull and machinery systems, equipment, structure and fittings, including associated electrical and electronic equipment, embarked craft, ship's boats and portable plant. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational state and maintenance of all machinery and electrical equipment aboard the vessel you are allocated.
