Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Electronics Engineer for a remote contract role in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronic design and engineering, PCB design, and layout, with a preference for Altium proficiency. Further advantageous skills include power electronics knowledge and experience in radar or sonar systems. Site visits will be required approximately once a quarter to engage with the project team.

Job description

Murray McIntosh are seeking an Electronics Engineer to work for a client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below.

This is a remote role, site visits will likely occur once a quarter to interface with broader project team.

• Electronic design & engineering experience
• Altium experience (preferred but others considered)
• PCB design, layout and schematic capture experience
• Previous SIL experience preferred.
• Power electronics experience preferred
• Analogue & Digital design experience
• Understanding of embedded software would be an advantage
• Previous marine/defence experience (advantageous not a necessity)
• Previous experience working on radar or sonar systems preferred
