A leading food technology company in Stockport is seeking a Senior Electrical Design & Compliance Engineer. In this role, you will create and maintain electrical schematic diagrams for packaging machinery and ensure compliance with international standards. Ideal candidates will hold an Electrical Engineering degree and have a solid understanding of electrical regulations, as well as experience with Electrical CAD software. Qualifications

• Experience as an electrical design engineer, preferably in the food industry.
• Familiarity with CE marking and electrical regulations.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety, ISO EN 13849-1.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and maintain electrical schematic diagrams.
• Sourcing electrical components to meet project requirements.
• Producing wiring schematic diagrams and ensuring compliance.

Skills

Electrical Engineering degree/HND

Proficient in Electrical CAD software

Familiarity with PLCs

Knowledge of industrial wiring practices

Education

Electrical Engineering degree/HND or equivalent
