Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Design Engineer to lead complex control panel projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high standards across design, build, and commissioning phases.

This is an exciting time to join a well established and growing team. You'll be working on a variety of projects that bring meaningful change to the infrastructure of the wider UK

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of LV control panels to industry and client standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team development
  • Manage multiple design projects and resources
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams
  • Oversee workshop build and commissioning support
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Produce detailed schematics and technical documentation

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial control panel design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, drives, and sensors
  • Familiar with NEC, IEC, UL standards
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
