An expanding consultancy is seeking to appoint a highly experienced Delay Director / Expert to join its expert witness division, based in London or working remotely with periodic travel to the London office.
The successful candidate must have experience either acting as a testified expert or as the No.2/lead assistant with ambitions to lead and manage the delay expert services division in the future. You will work for a highly reputable consultancy with technical, quantum and delay experts recognised by Who’s Who Legal (WWL).
The Senior Director will play a key role in leading, managing, and contributing to delay expert commissions for the Forensic Expert Witness team. This involves devising and discussing solutions, presenting findings both internally and externally, and driving efficiency, value creation, and optimal use of resources within the team.
The Senior Director may also take on their own appointments (expert, contentious, and non-contentious), either independently or in collaboration with the wider team, ensuring effective delivery and oversight. Deliverables typically relate to formal dispute resolution processes such as litigation, arbitration, and adjudication. In addition, the Senior Director provides strategic advice on ongoing projects, settlement negotiations, and mediations, both in the UK and internationally.
