• Location: Gloucester/Cheltenham – full time on site when required
• Salary: Up to £85k DOE + Bonuses & Benefits Package

What Will You Be Doing?

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging development, testing, infrastructure, and operations to streamline software delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and automating deployment pipelines to enable seamless software integration
• Implementing CI/CD best practices to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Working closely with Software Engineers to transform code into robust, deployable solutions
• Optimising infrastructure and orchestration using modern tools and frameworks
• Ensuring high availability and security of mission-critical applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and DevOps adoption

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for candidates with expertise in automation, orchestration, and deployment, as well as familiarity with a range of DevOps tools and technologies.

Essential Skills:

• Active Enhanced DV Clearance
• Strong experience in DevOps automation and infrastructure management
• Expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration tools

Technical Experience (Experience in some of the following is beneficial):

• Jenkins – CI/CD automation
• Python or Java – Scripting and development
• Ansible – Configuration management and automation
• Docker & Kubernetes – Containerisation and orchestration
• AWS – Cloud-based infrastructure and deployment
• Linux System Administration – Managing and securing deployed clusters
