Senior Development Manager – Onshore Wind, Solar, Battery Storage

Salary & Package - up to £80,000 DOE + annual bonus, car allowance, healthcare.

Remote Working.

Piper Maddox are partnering with a leader in the UK renewable energy industry to hire a key addition to their project development function in 2026.

This company is an IPP with a demonstrable track record in successful development, construction, and operation of utility Solar and Battery Storage assets. They had good results from the Gate2 notifications as well as being backed by very stable funders.

Looking ahead, our client plans to add Onshore Wind projects to their portfolio alongside continuing to work on their Solar and BESS projects.

To achieve this, they are looking to add a Senior Development Manager with excellent Onshore Wind experience who will be crucial in providing due diligence and guidance for the acquisitions of operational Onshore Wind assets.

You would also be involved in key late stage development processes for Solar and BESS projects, including discharge of planning conditions, supporting handover into delivery and construction, and entering the project into its land lease.

Key Experience Needed

• Onshore Wind project experience at various scales.
• Exposure to M&A transactions and key considerations in this process.
• Minimum of 5 years of UK renewable energy development experience.
