A leading staffing solutions provider is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to lead an organisational change programme within a large IT directorate. This role, focusing on contract management, budgeting, and governance, requires proven experience in financial management in the Energy Sector, strong background in vendor management, and expertise in Agile delivery environments. The position offers a competitive daily rate and mostly remote work with occasional travel.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to lead a major organisational change programme within a large IT directorate. This role focuses on contract management, budgeting, governance, and vendor oversight. You will play a key role in ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives and supporting the transition of innovation projects into business‑as‑usual.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contracts and third‑party supplier relationships
• Oversee budgets of up to £10‑£15m, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial governance
• Drive organisational change and support Agile team structuring
• Ensure robust reporting and governance processes
• Support delivery of SaaS solutions and data‑driven initiatives (AWS, forecasting, machine learning) from a governance perspective
• Facilitate transition of innovation projects into BAU service support
