• Proven experience as a data engineer with hands-on experience in building and maintaining data platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for complex data modeling and transformation.
• Strong experience with dbt-core and a solid understanding of analytics engineering principles.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience working in a remote-first, cross-functional team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain the end-to-end data platform.
• Drive the evolution of the data stack, including potential migration to a platform-agnostic data lake.
• Build and scale analytics models using dbt-core to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Design and maintain serverless data extraction pipelines using Python.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform.
