The role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. To work with customers across the defence sector in building solutions that deliver insight and contribute to better operational decisions.

Day-to-day, you’ll manage the Analytics function within the Design Information Group and have access to resources in the Data Exploitation team to conduct data activities.

  • Delivering Analytical capability to a variety of customers with focus on discovering insight into Engineering Data.
  • Leading the Analytical function for the Data Exploitation team’s contribution into specific projects.
  • Managing the delivery of capability to customers.
  • Challenging existing processes and procedures to add additional value.
  • Encouraging the customer and project team to contribute in the most effective way.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

Essential experience
  • Extensive previous experience as a Data Analytics professional and can show evidence of capability.
  • Must have a strong coding background with experience in either Python or SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
  • A Degree in either Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
