This is a Hybrid role, the Credit Strategy team work from our London office 3 days per week.

Credit Strategy at Capital on Tap

This team is responsible for our Credit Risk frameworks, using innovative monitoring, cutting-edge model development, and strategic insights to ensure we make the right lending decisions. The team is involved in all aspects of the credit lifecycle from designing policies and developing scorecards, to ongoing portfolio monitoring and performance optimisation. They work closely with the Decision Systems, Commercial and Underwriting areas of Capital on Tap - to name just a few!

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing and enhancing our Credit scorecards, Risk models, and analytical frameworks that will empower our lending decisions.
  • Helping us deliver robust monitoring and insights into portfolio performance, while identifying exciting opportunities for optimisation.
  • Implementing and refining Credit Policy changes that align perfectly with our Risk appetite and business objectives.
  • Collaborating with our amazing stakeholders across Data Science, Product, and Operations to create seamless end-to-end solutions.
  • Supporting our team by sharing knowledge, reducing key-person risk, and promoting cross-functional skill development.
  • Experience building and keeping Credit models and scorecards in good shape.
  • Expert in Python and SQL and the necessary statistical methods.

Interview Process
  • First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner (Video call)
  • Second stage: 45 minute CV overview with Hiring Manager (Video call)
  • Final stage: 60 minute technical assessment and final interview (In person)
