Qualifications

• Recognized Speech and Language Therapy Degree qualification or equivalent.
• At least one year clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide a Speech and Language Therapy service for adults with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop clear individual care plans based on clinical guidelines.
• Evaluate personal clinical effectiveness using appropriate outcome measures.
• Provide therapy programs and demonstrations for family and staff.
• Ensure smooth handover of care from one agency to another.

Experience of supervising junior band colleagues

Education

Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree qualification or equivalent

Health & Care Professions Council registration number

Successful completion of RCSLT dysphagia competencies

Successful completion of NQP competencies

Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
