A community healthcare trust in Doncaster is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care. The role involves working closely with a professional team, maintaining records, and providing feedback on patient status. An apprenticeship route is available for candidates without a Level 3 qualification, ensuring comprehensive training and development. This position offers flexible working within a supportive environment.
The Healthcare Assistant will contribute to the assessment, implementation and delivery of high quality patient care within a professional team. Will demonstrate responsibility to patients, relatives and colleagues through contribution to the development and monitoring of agreed evidence based practice and to the health and social care programmes. The community nursing service is located in the Doncaster Care Group, with an integrated Physical and Mental health model developing through the community services, across four localities.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role.
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
