As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping us secure the contracts that make all this possible. What You’ll Be Doing

You'll sit at the heart of our bidding activity, working closely with operational, commercial and financial leaders to shape winning, sustainable solutions. In this role, you will:

  • Analyse customer requirements and translate them into commercially sound financial responses
  • Build and review sophisticated financial models that inform pricing and strategy
  • Prepare, reconcile and present key financial submissions directly to customers
  • Help craft compelling business cases demonstrating value for money
  • Engage with customers to explain Serco's commercial approach
  • Collaborate with specialist teams (Tax, Treasury, Insurance, Group Finance) to ensure complete, accurate inputs
  • Provide insightful reporting, visualisations and recommendations for governance forums
  • Support broader commercial analysis, including benchmarking and service credit modelling
  • Mentor colleagues and contribute to strengthening commercial capability across the business
We're Looking For Someone Who...
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent commercial/financial expertise
  • Strong, proven financial modelling skills (advanced Excel essential)
  • Experience supporting competitive bids - ideally within public services or an outsourcing environment
  • Knowledge of TUPE, pensions, people‑cost modelling and commercial governance
  • Ability to simplify complex financial information and influence stakeholders with confidence
  • A self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic, team‑focused environment, Disability Confident
