Job summary

A leading financial services organization is seeking a Cloud Ops & DevOps Engineer to support their AWS-based infrastructure. This hands-on role involves configuring cloud services, managing Kubernetes clusters with numerous microservices, and implementing deployment automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices and tools, especially within large-scale environments. This is a permanent position based in Basildon, requiring onsite presence five days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of IT experience in large‑scale environments, preferably financial.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong command of Kubernetes and kubectl.

Responsibilities

• Support AWS services including Transfer Family, EC2, and EFS.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters with 70+ microservices across environments.
• Implement blue‑green and canary deployments using Argo Rollouts.
