Location: Belfast

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

About the Role

We're currently recruiting a Senior Clerical Officer to support a public sector client based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy office environment and delivering high-quality support to colleagues and customers.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day administrative operations, working closely with officers, customers, and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but won't be limited to:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support across all aspects of the section's work
  • Using a full range of IT systems, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email, intranet, and internet tools
  • Offering advice and assistance to Education Authority officers, customers, members of the public, and other professionals in line with agreed service areas
  • Collating factual data and statistical information from a variety of sources to support operational needs
  • Preparing letters, minutes, notes, and other documentation as required
  • Delivering excellent customer service, both over the telephone and through direct customer-facing interactions
Essential Experience
  • At least one year's demonstrable administrative or clerical experience in an office environment
Essential Qualifications
  • A minimum of five GCSEs (grades A-C)* or equivalent (or higher qualification)
