Qualifications

Overview

We are a dedicated team of Structural and Civil Engineers based in London. We enjoy a professional and friendly atmosphere.

You will be exposed to a wide variety of projects, including the detailed design of Roads & Drainage on a range of building-related infrastructure projects — Industrial, Residential, Commercial, Energy, Leisure, Hospitality and more. We have a very wide client base, spanning private sector to government departments, like Houses of Parliament & Buckingham Palace. At WSP we offer a dedicated program of training for ICE professional membership (MICE) and training opportunities tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities
  • You will be exposed to a wide variety of projects, including the detailed design of Roads & Drainage on a range of building-related infrastructure projects.
  • Work on Industrial, Residential, Commercial, Energy, Leisure, Hospitality and more.
  • Collaborate with a diverse client base across private sector and government departments.
  • Participate in training programs for ICE membership (MICE) and other tailored development opportunities.
We'd love to hear from you if you have
  • Extensive drainage design experience. Road design is an advantage.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Good client-facing skills.
  • Experience in a range of design software.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (MICE).
  • Ambitious individual actively working towards moving into a managerial position.
  • Experience in Below Ground Drainage Design, Sustainable SuDS strategy, Experience of S106, Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy Reports, Experience of S278, Causeway Flow / Info Drainage software, REVIT (Awareness), AutoCAD, Civils 3D for Earthworks (cut & fill), QGIS.
  • Accredited degree in Civil Engineering.
