Qualifications

• Experienced in the design, construction, and operation of nuclear and/or conventional facilities.
• Familiarity with Nuclear Site Licensing Conditions and Safety Assessment Principles.
• Experience of working on COMAH or similar high hazard sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as 'Intelligent Customer' for chemical engineering aspects of design.
• Ensure principles of inherent safety are embedded into the design.
• Lead development of requirements and design options for chemical engineering packages.

Skills

Chemical/Process Engineering

Experience in nuclear and/or conventional facilities

Process Safety tools and techniques

Understanding of modern control principles

Chartered Engineer or professional body membership

Education

Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or similar
