Job description

As a Senior Case Manager in our Leicester team, this is a key role supporting offender management by ensuring accurate records, effective communication, and the smooth delivery of administrative processes. Working closely with offenders, prison staff, and external agencies, you will manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and act as a specialist administrator within the department. You will report to the OMU Hub Manager and play an active role in driving innovation, supporting training, and embedding new processes and policies.

What you’ll do as a Senior Case Administrator
  • Complete and oversee mandatory daily administrative tasks, including release paperwork
  • Carry out 2-day checks (or be working towards completion)
  • Delegate tasks and support the Admin team
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. PPCS, policy advisors)
  • Act as a specialist administrator, leading on new processes and policy implementation
  • Support training and resource planning within the department
  • Identify trends, propose solutions, and contribute to service improvement
  • Support innovation and change within OMU
  • Excellent administrative skills in a busy office environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Current Sentence Calculation Licence to Operate
