Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Senior Carer to join our team full-time, working across Chester and Flintshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with care experience who is ready to develop into a supervisory role. The position is primarily office-based, focusing on compliance and care coordination, with occasional hands-on care delivery when required.

This role offers a salaried position of £25,000 to £27,000 per year, based on experience, working 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and independence
  • Mentor and supervise new care staff, encouraging best practices and professional development
  • Support the monitoring of compliance with company policies and care standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including care plans and compliance documentation
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Step in to provide care when needed, maintaining continuity for our customers
Requirements
  • Compassionate, dependable, friendly and proactive approach
  • You don\'t have to have been in a senior position before but you must have homecare experience.
  • Willingness to work alternate weekends
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred (or working towards)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with great attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Willingness to be part of the on-call rota. This will be one week night AND one weekend in 4.
Desirable
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards in care
  • Experience with some supervisory or senior care responsibilities
