A prominent caregiving firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Care Support Worker. In this role, you will deliver personalized support to service users within their homes in Bishop's Stortford and Ware. Qualifications

  • Experience in a Senior Support Worker / Care Assistant role is essential.
  • A full driving licence and own transport are required.

This Senior Care Support Worker opportunity is working for a highly reputable and rapidly expanding domiciliary business that promotes and encourages its staff to reach their full potential. Continuous training and support will be provided.

What you will do
  • Work within a service users' own home covering the Bishop's Stortford and Ware areas
  • Deliver flexible assistance to service users enabling them to live as independently as possible, encouraging autonomy while maintaining dignity, choice, and respect at all times.
  • Provide personal help to service users, engaging socially, preparing meals, ensuring a balanced diet and carrying out household and cleaning tasks.
Requirements
  • Experience of working within the domiciliary care sector in a Senior Support Worker / Care Assistant role or similar.
  • Must be flexible for weekends and working shifts.
  • Full driving licence and own transport with the ability to travel within the community setting - ESSENTIAL.
  • Good comprehension of the English language with the ability to communicate at all levels effectively.
  • Working knowledge of safeguarding processes.
  • Ability to carry out moving and positioning techniques and demonstrate a high level of initiative, empathy and compassion.
Desirable qualifications
  • QCF/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
  • Specialist Training – e.g. Diabetes, Autism, Learning Disabilities.

For this position there are no sponsorship opportunities and you will require a fully enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK.
