What does the role involve?

  • Supporting residents with all aspects of daily living to ensure high standards of care.
  • Training and supervising junior and new staff members under senior staff guidance.
  • Responding to the Nurse Call system, answering the door and telephone, and passing messages promptly.
  • Reporting on residents’ well-being and liaising with GPs and Support Managers.
  • Conducting regular checks on residents as per senior staff instructions.
  • Providing personal and psychological care, including medication, toileting, bathing, etc., in a professional manner.
  • Completing records and documentation accurately and within agreed timeframes.
