Job summary

A leading luxury elderly care provider in the UK is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their award-winning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring resident wellbeing, supporting medication requirements, and participating in care planning. Ideal applicants will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent, along with at least 2 years' experience in a similar environment.

Overview

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. You will support the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care and create a safe, caring, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Package details:

  • Shift Details: 19:45 - 08:00, includes alternate weekends

Location: Avery Healthcare, Knowle, B93 9LQ

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and note changes that may impact care and care plans; ensure new needs are met and records reflect any variation.
  • Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals; respond to reasonable requests and escalate concerns or complaints as needed.

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
