Responsibilities

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant is to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities include:

  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identify changes affecting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and update written records to reflect variations.
  • Be involved in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
  • Act as a key point of contact with residents, relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints escalated as needed.

ROLE FOCUS:

About you
