Please note: We have opportunities for a Full Time Senior Care Assistant, 33 hours per week on Days, and also Full Time Nights, 33 hours per week.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. This role involves planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your interactions, whether assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communicating with families, should always be driven by kindness.
You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, including medication administration.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key responsibilities.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (S/NVQ) and be willing to progress towards Level 3 or equivalent. A background in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge is preferred. Most importantly, you should have a positive energy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage your time effectively, always demonstrating kindness and consideration.
