A leading health care provider in Holt, Norfolk is seeking a committed Senior Support Worker for a new state-of-the-art care home. This full-time role offers a salary of £14.75 per hour, equating to an annual salary of £27,612 for 36 hours a week, primarily on nights. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and a genuine desire to care for others. Responsibilities

  • Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
  • Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
  • Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers.
  • Promote services when dealing with relatives and prospective residents.
  • Participate in updating and writing care plans.
  • Make and report realistic assessments for continuity of care.
  • Administer medication in accordance with policies.

Responsibilities
  • Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
  • Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
  • Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
  • Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
  • Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
  • Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
  • Be responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures

Salary and Benefits

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.75 per hour and the annual salary is £27,612 per annum.
