Overview

Senior Buyer in Crewe. £38k - £40k + Great Company Benefits + Training and Development + Bonuses. Permanent.

I am currently looking for a Senior Strategy Buyer to procure raw materials and components for an established Manufacturer based in the Crewe area.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring purchased parts are to optimum value, required quality and delivered on time
• Purchasing raw materials and components to achieve the production schedule
• Developing appropriate plans to achieve objectives
• To monitor suppliers, ensuring corrective action as needed. To plan, hold and report on regular supplier meetings
• To take an overview of the raw materials process and MRO distribution component spend

Qualifications

Ideally CIPS / MCIPS qualified, you will have a manufacturing / engineering background, where you can showcase your understanding of the purchasing lifecycle for components and raw materials
