A leading sports technology company is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business and manage relationships in the UK. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years B2B sales experience in technology, particularly in the sports industry. This role includes developing growth strategies, collaborating with teams, and utilizing CRM tools. We work with over 4,600 teams around the world, empowering coaches, managers and trainers in premier teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, EPL, AFL, NRL, NCAA and more. We provide the information they need to optimise athletes’ health, game-day readiness, and performance, as well as in-game tactics. Our solutions include wearable technology, video analytics, scouting, strength and conditioning, education and athlete monitoring solutions, and we are passionate about helping sports organisations at all levels to better scout, recruit, teach, and win.
The Senior Business Development Manager role is split between developing new relationships/accounts, and ensuring successful account management of current solutions while upselling and cross selling our full suite of products. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Sales in the UK and work closely with other internal teams such as customer success, support, logistics, sales operations to help coaches, sport scientists and performance analysts turn objective data into valuable athlete insights.
